It looks like Google is continuing on its quest to give great value for FREE! Those of us who have been using Google’s GrandCentral are now going to be upgraded to Google Voice.  It looks like Google is re-branding Google Grand Central as Google Voice. Don’t expect to be upgraded immediately, they are currently in the process of upgrading all Google CrandCentral users (which there is no eta).

So what does the new Google Voice offer? You’ll now get transcriptions of voice messages, SMS, conference calling, cheap international calling, Goog411 integration, etc.). Once you are upgraded all new voicemail and SMS messages will begin appearing in your Google Voice inbox.

Read more about it at the Google Voice Blog

More information can also be found at the official Google Voice webpage.
